“ They were busy, but attentive and so respectful. Everything tasted delicious. We had a carrot and orange juice, everything tasted so fresh! First time visiting, but won’t be the last. ”
“ Whenever I’m in the area, can’t help but to stop at this place. Hospitable staff and pleasant staff. I had my favorite Salvadoran breakfast and delicious cafe. And their pupusas are so delicious. Love their foods and service. ”
“ Authentic Tropical Latin American atmosphere! The ambience here is reminiscent of the Tropical Mexican Sureste, which I have experienced and of course Central American households of my friends. It really seems like entering an Abuelita’s kitchen. From the table coverings to the statues of saints and altares. A lot of locals come in so it gets very lively. I love hearing the Tropical accent. Best of all our server called me “Mi Amor” several times! It really feels at home here! The music was priceless today! Old Spanish speaking ballads from the 80s! Wow! There’s a Virgin of Guadalupe on the wall next to the entrance which is really cool because you get the feeling that this is a place that welcomes all Latinos and well, we are all cousins after all. They actually sell Mexican food too. The pupusas are 3.25 and they’re not greasy. Not the best but they are definitely above average. The curtido is pretty good. I got 2 Pupusas Revueltas. I also had Fried Plantains which come with cream and beans. I drank an Horchata which is different from the Mexican one. It was not the best I’ve had. Service is warm and friendly. You can hear the pupusa maker patting the pupusas into shape. As you walk by the restaurant you can see her at work from the window! The decor is very Latin American. It’s not a hole in the wall. It’s a total different look. Literally it’s like a Latin American restaurant right here in the US. Meter parking outside. ”
“ Most of his full-time restaurant are good they're cooked chef does even better!! He'll be convenient to rename the place easily find a new name. ”
“ Amazing everything, this is the best spot for pupusas and Salvadorian food. The owners are beyond kind and patient. No notes you have to come here! ”
“ The food at this place is simply A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. Those pork and cheese pupusas (Revueltas for my latinos) to die for! The costumer service is nothing but the best. Love the ladies working hard behind the counter. Love you ladies and keep up the GREAT work! ”
“ This is my favorite pupusa place. I love the girls that work there. Morena They are always friendly and they have the best tasting pupusas in silverlake!!!! Me and my son always have to stop by when we are in the area!! ”
“ The staff were super friendly, and our waitress was just a pleasure to interact with! The food was wonderful and cheap for the amount of food we got — definitely get a couple of the pupusas! I especially liked the bean and cheese pupusa. ”
